Happy 4th of July!

This week was a fun and relaxing week. S, E and r, along with some friends, went to Seattle and visited museums, EMP, Laser show to Beatles music at the Pacific Science Center, and ate at their favorite place in Queen Anne, Dicks Drive In. The weather was hot most days and then we had a thunderstorm for a day and a half. We thought we were going to loose Pepper to an anxiety attack. She's terribly afraid of loud cracking sounds. Do you think she got that fear one Christmas morning when r got a cap gun for Christmas and r shot it off next to her? hmmmm... She survived the thunder storm and the fireworks, thank goodness.

The 4th started out to be a cold drizzly day, but it ended in sunshine and clear skies. We watched the fireworks at the Sammamish Commons on a grassy hill. The fireworks were awesome.

Earlier that day we were able to meet up with our friends from Japan, Yoko and Masatoshi Terai. We took them to lunch and back to our home to visit. That was the first time we had met Yoko's husband in 27 years. We didn't get to see him when we were in Japan in November. It was so nice to spend time with them.
