Oh, the weather outside is frightful........

Up until the 17th of December it's been cold here in Seattle and then this week we were hit with a snow storm. It's funny to watch the news and hear the headlines, "Impending Storm of the Century", on the radio, "Stock up, Armegeddon is going to hit". Generally there is an over exaggeration making me wonder if the local media is in cahoots with the local grocers' union. Our local Safeway's shelves were cleared out in less than 24 hours.

We're already stocked up and will run into the store for an occasional "snack" and wonder if the snack is worth waiting in the long, winding lines at the store, hence, the diet maintance plan. Long line, no dine!

We've managed to brave the weather and have visited the D'Lights at the local botonical gardens. Photos below....

At our church every year the two congregations put on a live nativity for the community. The girls get to participate in the nativity. A was a shepherd and E was an angel.

Here's proof that E can be an angel at times. (Yes, E is the dark haired girl with the halo.)
