Hello Friends and Family,
There hasn't been too much going on in the Gordon household the past few weeks, that I would consider Blog worthy, but I wanted you to know that we're still alive and well. We've been so lucky to have sunny weather and a little warmer weather than usual here. That's nice, since most of the country is enjoying our usual wet winter weather.
We've got all of S's VISA papers in and she's ready to go April 14th. We're hoping since her papers are all in, maybe they'll get her VISA early and she'll be off to Brazil. She's so excited to get to Brazil. She's taking a Portuguese class on Wednesday evenings and studying Portuguese on Rosetta Stone. She's posted little labels on various home items to learn the portuguese word for things like, oven, sink, door, etc...we're all learning Portuguese. It's similar to Spanish, but not. :-) S went to the Seattle Temple last Saturday night to recieve her temple endowments. What a wonderful thing to have your daughter in the temple with you!
E is doing awesome in school and can't wait to sign up for her college classes next year. She's going to work on getting her Associates before she graduates from high school. She has two guitar students and does a great job teaching her students.
A is busy with her college classes and her Saturday photography class. She recieved her acceptance letter to BYU Idaho, but is still hoping for one from BYU-Provo. She should know by the end of February. She's getting ready for her "girls' choice" dance in February and has already found the cutest dress for this event.
r is playing basketball. Last Saturday they lost 55 to 12, but Rylan made half the points! He enjoys playing basketball. His teammates are all such nice kids, they need to get more tough to play some mean ball! (No we're really not those kind of parents!) He's got a lot of projects in school. I guess they are getting them ready for Junior high next year! Junior high, what??!!!
R recieved a top manager's award for a project he did and a cash bonus. It was a real honor to recieve that, he was quite proud of his project and we were proud of him!
J, I'm busy getting Stephanie ready for her mission and organizing with my clients. I'm enjoying the sunny days and can be found basking in front of the window, like a cat, in the sunshine!
