Spring Break in Sunny Arizona

Note...my niece's new dog....Chica the Chihuahua.

The kids were on Spring break this past week so we went to AZ to visit my mom, sister and her family and to get some much needed sunshine!

We had a great time just relaxing and letting the kids do what they wanted to do....swim, shop, swim, eat, sleep until 11am.

R tried out my sister's new hobby, Geocaching. R and r would get up early and go looking for a new geocach everyday.

We also went to Tucson for the weekend to spend time with our friends, the Wallaces. The girls went to get facials and make up lessons, while the boys went to play in the desert dirt. Just before we headed back to Phoenix, we were able to see a pack of Javelina's up close and personal.

We had a great time and were sad to leave the warm weather and return to cold Seattle.

r and his cousins geocaching...

r's geocache find...basically a jar of trinkity crap, but it's more about the hunt.

We went to an evening Spring Training game in Peoria. It was a lot of fun, you're so close to the professional players, felt like a high school game. Beautiful evening!
R and r went to a day game...Mariners vs Padres. r caught the last foul ball in the last game of Spring Training. He was so exicted!

A, E and my mom enjoying my mom's "resort" pool. (r calls the community where she lives, "Grandma's Resort", it is like a resort.) This was the last day at the pool and Elise had had enough sun. (I think it scared her seeing the shriveled up ol' tanned raisin ladies around the pool. The effects of too much sun.)

Who's the handsome man behind the cacti?
